Does your clients dns entries have both DC's defined? It sounds like you
only have 1 of them and you are logging on with cached credentials.

Hi,
i have a 2003 setup like this:
DC1: with DFS / DNS
DC2: with DFS/ FSMO /DNS
both primary dns settins pointing to itself.
Login scripts 'filename.bat' via Netlogon folder
XP/2k Clients dns is point to DC1 as primary and DC2 as secondary
When i shutdown DC1, testing login to domain on client machine. When
domain
user login, the login script is running very slow. I can see the mapping
of
each drive take about 5 mins before completing and closes the 'dos cmd'
window.
Pls help.
