windows xp can't join 2003 domain

hi all
i'm having a problem connecting my windows xp to my windows 2003 domain

SRV seems to be fine in the DNS i did
net stop netlogon
net start netlogon
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns

trying to join the domain using my xp box i get the following error

in xp i'm running
nltest.exe /dsgetdc:learningocean.domain /dns

i get
DsGetDcName failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN


double checked the entries in the DNS the domain seems to be there

tried the netbios name and got the same results
