Probably not what you had in mind, but tokens or smart cards might be a
solution and in the process actually improve security.

The user names are for example: mco010203
and the users can hardly remember their passwords let alone their
usernames,
i will just have to try and burn their usernames into their minds. I do
see
where this could be a security problem now, if the usernames are stored
then
easier for a hacker to try and crack passwords. Thanks for help though

Shane,
Not trying to be disrespectful, but I am not so sure that there is a
technical solution for a human error like this. Remembering the user
name
is something that each user should be able to do....
Or, is it the case that things are really secure in that each user
account
object is not the 'typical' jsmith (for Joe Smith) but a more secure
s1888999 (or something in that vein). I can understand how a user might
be
more inclined to forget this in the beginning.

is there a way that you can specify in windows for when a user is
logging
on to the domain that they have a list box for them to choose a user
account?
This feature would be great for a domain computer that has multiple
users
that don't remember the unique user name.
