Gaining Access to the Active Directory Schema MMC Snap-In
By default, the Active Directory Schema MMC snap-in is not listed as an
available snap-in. If the Active Directory Schema MMC snap-in is not
available, perform the following steps to enable it: 1. Click Start, and
then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regsvr32 schmmgmt.dll, and then click OK.
A dialog box that states "DllRegisterServer in schmmgmt.dll succeeded" is
displayed, and the Active Directory Schema MMC snap-in is displayed in the
list of available snap-ins.

The instructions given in that KB article say to add the Active Directory
Schema Snap-In to the MMC. Unfortunately, no such snap-in is listed in
the
add-in's to pick from. That's probably a clue of some sort. What next?
