Hi,
Our GPO is set for "Minimum Password Age = 1"
Now when our Helpdesk resets the password because a user as forgoten it, it
changes that value. For security reason, the user must change his password at
the next logon.
When the user attemps to change it, it looks up that value and denies the
change (because the password is not older then 1 day)
Is there anyway to not count the Helpdesk reset so that the users can change
their passwords ?
Many thanks
Have the help desk try:
net user username temporarypassword /domain.
at a CMD.EXE prompt.
