LDAP over SSL

Hi!

I'm trying to enable LDAP over SSL on my AD controller. I've issued a
certificate from a third-party authority (cacert) and followed the steps in
this KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;321051. However when
I try to connect using ldp directly on the DC I get the following error:

Error <0x0> = ldap_set_option(hLdap, LDAP_OPT_PROTOCOL_VERSION,
LDAP_VERSION3);
Error <0x51> = ldap_connect(hLdap, NULL);
Server error: <empty>

The server is running Windows Server 2003 SP1 with all the latest patches.

How can I troubleshoot this problem?

Morten
