Re: Win95 to Server2003

Well, that's me out of ideas. It's been a good three years since I've seen
a Windows 9x box, and I kept my distance even then.

Does the following KB article help?

Yes, but I did the workaround in it, did a gpupdate /force - made sure it
applied via rsop.msc, restarted the server and client, but I had the same
error. So, I then undefined 'Network security: LAN manager authentication
level' in the Default DC GPO, did the same steps above and still received
the same error.

In my eventvwr on the server I see: Successful network logon: Username:
userguy, domain: fallacy, logon type: 3, logon process: NtLmSsp,
authentication package: NTLM, workstation name: \\TEST, source network
address: 10.69.0.10, source port: 0.

In the same second the following appears in eventvwr: User Loggof:
Username: userguy, domain: fallacy, logon type: 3.

Any other ideas? If I have to use the AD client for 9x, I will.
