for the best performance:
OS on RAID1 (a lot of reading and writing)
AD DB on RAID 5 (a lot of reading)
AD LOGS on RAID1 (a lot of writing)
AD SYSVOL on RAID5 (a lot of reading)
For the DCs in your scenario it should be more than enough to have:
OS, AD DB, AD LOGS, AD SYSVOL on RAID1
I do advise to create a separate partition for the AD stuff (AD DB, AD LOGS,
AD SYSVOL) and put nothing else on that drive. Leave it for AD stuff only
14 DCs? Why?
