Re: Tough password question!



Okay - I've got it cracked. It seems the regional settings on the DC are
screwed up.

If I go in to notepad and hold down shift and type 1234 I get: -

!"£$

If I go to start and run and type the same I get: -

!@#$

So it is region / keyboard related - why they give different results I don't
know.

The moral of the story - I guess "Don;t look for a complicated answer for a
simple question!"
