Are you doing a console connection?
Within the connection properties there is a check box 'Connect to
Console'. This will lock the account at the server console.
You can have up to 2 RDP connections (non console) in remote
administration mode.

Conversation: share a remote desktop session
Subject: share a remote desktop session
Whenever I logon to a remote machine using a remote desktop connection
as
administrator, the locally logged on session will be logged off.
Is there a way to share the remote desktop between two administrator
sessions ?
Many thanks,
