If you have K3 AD you can undelete the groups, you will need to repopulate them with users and remailenable them if mail-enabled but you will get the groups and their SIDS/GUIDs back.
Alternately you can auth restore them.
Alternately you can recreate and then reACL all resources that used them.

A new employee (network admin) deleted some groups from AD, and now permissions are screwed up. We recreated the groups using the same name and started reassigning permissions to directories.
What are our options for restoring the permissions to the directories? Can I restore the deleted groups or use the deleted group SIDs and add it to the new groups.
Thanks
