Thanks for the heads up.
Could you please tell me how to edit the registry and where.
Also, can you tell me how to install apps on the server for domain user
distribution, other than .msi
Any help / articles will really be appreciated
I have looked at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/rstrplcy.mspx
but there is no how-to for installing apps, well, none that I can find.
But I also tried, adding the domain user to the security on the program
folder with Read & excute / Write / List folder contents, that worked.
Users can open the accounts program (but cant open 'admin permission'
programs), and since the data file is stored on the server, they can work the
program.
Although this worked, I haven't got to test it fully, to see if it creates
other issues.
