Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I do have a few follow-up questions
though. Once the new DC is put in place at the site and the IP is changed
and it moved into that site in AD, woudl there be any underlying issues once
we install DNS and DHCP?
In regards to replication, once the server is setup and connectivity is
verified, is it advisable to do a manual replication or to wait until its the
next scheduled replication? To follow that question, here's a brief
descriptor of our setup, we have two DC's GC's currently in place at our main
office. We did setup the new DC (as another DC in an existing domain) that
is going to the site, joined it to the domain and dcpromo'd it etc.
Currently our replication setup to "any server", which will be changed to
only named servers. Once that is done and the new DC is in its new location,
will replication be an issue?
