You can test this policy by creating a test OU and some user accounts in
this OU. Then create a new GPO, configure folder redirection settings in
this GPO, and apply this GPO to the test OU. THen try logging in with any of
the test accounts and see the results.
Make sure you have configured proper permissions on the server for folder
redirection - users must have effective full control (which means both NTFS
and share permissions must be set correctly) on the folder where their
documents (desktop, etc) will be redirected.
