Sorry for the delay!
Unfortunately, the DNS log cannot help to determine the root cause. Please
gather the following information, the information is necessary for us to
isolate this issue.
1. Please download the MPSRPT_DirSvc.EXE from the following link, run it on
the win2k , win2k3 DCs, and send the result (CAB) file to me.

2. On one problematic client, refer to the following article to enable
userenv log, take the win2k machine offline and reproduce this issue:

Windows

Download MPSRPT_NETWORK.EXE and run it on one client after reproduce this
issue.
>From the info above, we can analyze the user logon process, determine which
server the clients tries to contact, check the event log etc.
