ADMT computer profile problems

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have a NT4 domian that I'm trying to migrate PCs from into a 2003 AD
domain. When I run the ADMT everything processes fine and the computer
account it created properly. However when you go to login as a user who had
an existing profile on PC rather than use the existing profile it creates a
new profile. Forceing me to hack permissions and copy the old one over the
new one. I've done this before and had it work successfully but for the life
of me cannot figure out what step I'm missing. Any help is much appreciated.
