|Subject: Group assignments and security rights?
|
|
|Hi,
|
|Running AD, one DC is Windows 2000 Server and the other is
|Windows 2003 Server. I'm new to this company so didn't setup
|the network. They have a number of user groups defined and
|I'm trying to figure out what they do, no one here knows a
|thing appearently since the network was setup by various
|contractors of time.
|
|My question is, how can I tell what a group is used for? I
|can see who belongs to the group but how do I track down which
|folders the group is assigned to, is there some utility that
|gives me this information?
|
|Thanks in advance,
|Linn

Maybe you can use:
showacls - ResKit
accesenum - sysinternals
