Group assignments and security rights?

Hi,

Running AD, one DC is Windows 2000 Server and the other is Windows 2003
Server. I'm new to this company so didn't setup the network. They have a
number of user groups defined and I'm trying to figure out what they do, no
one here knows a thing appearently since the network was setup by various
contractors of time.

My question is, how can I tell what a group is used for? I can see who
belongs to the group but how do I track down which folders the group is
assigned to, is there some utility that gives me this information?

Thanks in advance,
Linn
