Active Directory/DNS

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

We have two servers one is a 2000 server domain controller and the other is
2003 server when we change the dns on the 2003 server from the ip of the 2000
server to the ip of the 2003 server the active directory on the 2003 server
fails. When keep the dns pointing to the ip on the 2000 server from 2003
server the active directory on the 2003 server is fine. What can be causing
this to happen we notice some events in event viewer discussing file
replication errors. Any suggestions or solutions
