Active Directory "Logon attempt Failed"
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
I have a Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 that is the primary (only)
domain controller and all active directory functions suddenly start
giving the message:
Naming information cannot be located because:
Logon attempt failed.
Contact your system administrator to verify that your domain is properly
configured and is currently online.
As I am the system administrator I contacted myself with disappointing
results. I am confident I did something I shouldn't have and I am
hoping someone can tell me how to fix it.
BTW, nobody is having any trouble logging on any where on the domain.
