They're not null, it's just displayed that way. Besides, that's for W2K
which allows anonymous LDAP connections.
You'll need to authenticate to the directory in order to get results with
that Mozilla client.

I can confirm that the article works just fine if you add that information
in there. I have that on my desktop and a DC that I just tested it against.
Works fine as long as you authenticate.
