Kerberos over VPN

I have a user located across the country from our home office and connecting
via VPN. She is using a WinXP SP2 with Outlook 2003 in cached Exchange mode
to connect to Exchange 2003 on a native 2003 AD. While physically connected
in our office last week she was able to function properly in e-mail and even
when I took her laptop out of the lan and connected via VPN I was able to
connect as expected. Now that she is back in her home office she can no
longer be authenticated by the exchange server, she can access all other
resources on the network. Even if I browse the exchange serve and attempt to
view it's shares I am rejected immediately. The server name resolves to the
correct IP. I have received the KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error in my system log
(referenced at bottom). I need to figure out a way to resolve this problem
without having her ship the laptop back to me. Thanks in advance for any
help.

Description:
The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server
PN0814$. This indicates that the password used to encrypt the kerberos
service ticket is different than that on the target server. Commonly, this is
due to identically named machine accounts in the target realm (domain.COM),
and the client realm. Please contact your system administrator.
