Yeah I first posted in the XP general and in the Network/web forum but didn't
get any help. I think it is definitely to do with the DHCP server, my
firewall is already off though. I haven't tried pinging localhost but have
tried pinging other computers on the workgroup and it always times out. I'll
have to wait until I go home to try to ping the local host. Thanks for your
help.
