Re: Blank desktop after migrating user from client to server



What you're probably seeing is the default desktop for a new user. When
you now log in as a domain user instead of a workgroup user it is a
different user to the system and will therefore get a new default
desktop. Try copying the profile over by opening My Computer ->
Properties -> Advanced -> User Profiles.
