Is it possible to restore it into my test lab , running on pentium 3

i was tried to do this but , the assembled pc was restarting

when i tried for repair it is saying that active directory not repair...

can we do restore using NTBACKUP using veritas backup file ?????

I'm not BOSS, I'm Ulf ;-)

Restores on different hardware are not really supported, however the best thing you might try is running a repair from the windows server cd after you were restoring the systemstate.

I guess you might be able to restore a veritas backup using Ntbackup (since it was coming from veritas as well), but I don't know for sure. This is a veritas question you should post separatelly (perhaps in a veritas forum/newsgroup). Otherwise you can just try it on any server with some testfiles.
