Finding the domain

On a few client PCs, when I try to add a network account into SECURITY
property of a hard drive, the LOCATIONS button only shows the local pc. If I
type the user for example, Administrator@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and click CHECK
NAMES, AD doesn't find it.
Is there a command line option to refresh AD so I would be able to browse
LOCATIONS and see the domain?
