Thanks for your reply. Our main office is not ready for W2K3 migration so I
can't do anything there. Or you're referring to the reverse, setup the
remote office as W2K3 and leave the main office NT4? I actually posted on
windownt.domain as well and Rebecca replied with some additional
information.

In this scenario though, I assume I need to do the following:

a) install NT4 as BDC in the existing domain structure (NT4 domain) from
remote office
b) promote the BDC as PDC
c) install W2K3 and run it in interim mode
d) apply NT4 registry to make W2K3 runs like NT4

I suppose at this point, I can demote the PDC and select a BDC from the
corporate office as PDC?
