Switching Windows 2003 Domain from Mixed Mode to Native Mode

I wonder if any can help.
I am halfway through an Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 migration, this
needs to be done without any downtime.
I have a windows NT 4.0 domain with an Exchange 5.5 server installed.
I have created a windows 2003 domain.
I then created a two way trust relationship between the 2003 domain and
the NT domain.
Exchange 2003 was then installed into the Exchange 5.5 organisation.
I have migrated the email accounts from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
My users are now authenticating onto the windows NT 4.0 domain and then
accessing their email accounts on the Exchange 2003 server. I have
removed the Exchange 5.5 server from the organisation as all accounts
have been removed.
My question is if I now convert my Windows 2003 domain from mixed to
native mode, would all my users lose connectivity to their email
accounts on the Exchange 2003 server as they are authenticating to the
NT domain.
I need to confirm this as converting from mixed to native is only a one
way process.
Thanks
.
