How to correct this active directory error reported in event log?

Hi all...

I'm getting this error in Application node of event viewer:

Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO
CN={31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=DESYTEC,DC=North.
The file must be present at the location
<\\DESYTEC.North\sysvol\DESYTEC.North\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\gpt.ini>.
(The format of the specified network name is invalid. ). Group Policy
processing aborted.

Why is this produced and how can I solve it?
