Both domain and forest are in "Windows 2003 mode".
I think the problem is in SQL 2000 server. I have tried to share folder on
Windows 2003 server, where SQL 2000 resides - everything is OK. But it is
not possible to grant permissions to the domain local group on the database
throught SQL enterprise manager - local group is not visible. Of course, I
can manually add this group typing it`s full name - but in this case user
can not access the database...
I will try to ask this question on sql newsgroup :-)
Thanks for your help.
