Intersite is AD replication between sites, so between NEW YORK and LONDON.
Replication times are configurable, the shortest being 15 mins. Sites
usually are setup to match locations separated by WAN links.
Intrasite is AD replication between Domain Controllers in the same site.
This is done via RPCs and is not configurable. DCs in the same site should
have good network connectivity (usually same LAN).
