RE: Reinstall 1st domain controller



Sorry, forgot to mention this in my first post:

Once you've transferred all roles, GC, DNS and DHCP there's nothing to it.
You demote the original DC, disjoin from the domain, format into a new 2003
server and promote again. The name can stay the same or can be changed...it
doesn't matter. Just remove the computer object from AD first.
