This is either connectivity or name resolution.

Can you resolve the following across the VPN:

_ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.domain-name.com


To try and resolve this, type the following at a command prompt:

C:\>nslookup -type=srv _ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.domain-name.com
