RE: Folder Redirection not working

Hi Allen,

Yes, you're right, that was causing an error.

However, I've now changed the redirection to point to each group's shared
folder. For example, the 'Users' group I have set as
'\\servername\userdocs\%username%'

I have looked at the GPMC RSoP and it now sends back an error stating:

'Failed to perform redirection of folder My Documents.
The new directories for the redirected folder could not be created.
The folder is configured to be redirected to
<\\pandora\guestdocs$\%username%>, the final expanded path was
<\\pandora\guestdocs$\user4>.
The following error occurred:
This security ID may not be assigned as the owner of this object.'

What does this mean? I have set it up to make sure the correct user group
has full security privelages on their shared folder.
