As long as that user is an administrator you can not effectively stop him
from sharing folders. If this is a domain computer you can configure the
user right for access this computer from the network to allow only
authorized users to access computer shares on his computer. By default the
users group is included but you can configure it to be whatever you need. If
you configure that user right at domain or Organizational Unit Level, he
will not be able to override the domain/OU settings as long as the computer
is a domain member. User rights are configured in Group Policy/computer
configuration/Windows settings/security settings/local policies/user rights.
You may also want to use a user computer policy that prohibits such actions
on a user's computer but if you do make sure that stated consequences are in
the policy and that you have a signed copy on file for all users. --- Steve
