Setting Proxy Settings with GP

I have set up a new GPO to set proxy settings using Internet Explorer
maintenance and to disable the connections page using Internet Control Panel.
I linked this to an OU I had created which contained 1 test user. It worked
fine. I then created a group with members from the Users container and moved
it into the OU. The Group Policy will not work for the users of this group.
However it still works for my test user which is not part of the group. I
have no other Group Policies enabled. If anyone has any ideas, I would be
very grateful
