I recently added several Windows 2003 servers to my 2000AD. These servers
joined the domain fine and I can add domain users to resource ACL's however
when I try to access these resources with a domain user account, the error
"There are currently no access servers available to service the logon
request. The data is the error code. 0000: 0000051f " (Data, Words version)
Event 100.
I get this error when I try to logon using Front Page or FTP which are
obviously necessary as these are webservers.
If I quit the domain, join a workgroup, delete the computer account from the
domain and then rejoin the domain, the logon works again but for less than
24hrs. I haven't determined exactly how long it works for yet.
I've checked DNS for reverse resolve on DC names and checked WINS for 1ch
listings, both seem OK.
Curiously if I try to ping any domain hosts by the their FQDN(internal name)
it will not resolve however pinging by only the host portion of the name it
works.
DCDIAG and NETDIAG both fail, results shown below. I checked and there is
an msdcs listing for the ns21 host so I'm not sure why DCDIAG says what it
does
