To the BDC or to the other DC?
The other DC should replicate almost immediately
(at most a few minutes) if this is the SAME SITE.
A BDC should even be replicating every 5 minutes
by default. (Netlogon: Pulse=300 seconds)
Something else is likely wrong -- were it name resolution
you would probably fail totally.
