Ryan,

Need more information. Parse through your Event logs for errors. Also, run
DCDIAG to ensure that the DCPROMO Process completed all tasks associated with
AD install. Check your DNS settings to ensure that DNS is functioning
properly (most likely cause) and check for errors on DNS. Follow this link
