Well, are you sure you have the correct permissions on these network
resources?
Do the machines that you are connecting to pass the nltest /sc_query test?
If you do this first, is everything OK?
net use \\servername\ipc$ /user:domainname\username *
This could be a connectivity issue, which is affecting authentication.
