Hi Jorge,

Based on my research, there are a few ways to disable the property page:

1. Remove "{596AB062-B4D2-4215-9F74-E9109B0A8153}" from under
HKLM,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved"
and enable the policy that makes explorer pay attention to that key.

2. Remove HKCR,CLSID\{596AB062-B4D2-4215-9F74-E9109B0A8153}

3. regsvr32 /s /u twext.dll

Any one of the above options will remove the tab. If the Previous Version
tab is needed to be used, then type regsvr32 twext.dll at the command
prompt to reregister the shell DLL. You could run number 3 in a login
script for your users. Also, for users that do not have the client
installed, you can use a Software Restriction Policy. Here are some
articles that may help you configure this:

I have tried on Win2k3 and XP client, after running " regsvr32 /s /u
twext.dll ", the Previous version tab is disappeared when the client to
visit the shares located in win2k3 server.

HTH!
