We are attempting to port a directory via LDIFs from OpenLDAP to ADAM; We
have made many adjustments to the schema, however several issues are still
giving problems.
When trying to import a certificationAuthority object we get the following
report:-
Loading entries...
Add error on line 11: Object Class Violation
The server side error is "The specified class is not a subclass."
And when we look at the schema compare (importing the OpenLDAP core.schema
as target, and our ADAM schema as base) we see the following report:-
Loaded schema: 387 attributes, 84 classes, 8 property sets.
Comparing schemas...
inetOrgPerson: subclassOf mismatch: target top, base user
residentialPerson: subclassOf mismatch: target top, base person
Done comparing schemas.
But there appears to be no way to change the parent class of the
certificationAuthority object using the adamschemmgmt mmc plugin.
It is probably just a problem of lack of knowledge of how to edit the ADAM
schema.
We have attempted adding Superior object top to the inetOrgPerson class, but
the error still occurs.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks
Kevin
