Either a DNS-Server issue, or you just forgot to set the DNS-Server in
the TCP/IP-Properties of the future Memberserver.
Check Ipconfig /all if the right server is configured as dns-server.
If it's not a client issue, try netdiag, dcdiag or dnslint against the
server which might give you more hints.
If you wish look in the thread of frankca in this group, or mark in the
windows.server.dns-group, they both had issues with the dns-server too.

OK, verifies that it seems to be a clientside issue, check the
TCP/IP-Properties of the future memberserver for the right dns-server.
