ProxyAddresses, mail and mailNickname are easy to set. LegacyExchangeDN
should be set by Exchange (the RUS process usually does this). However,
maybe you can get away with not setting that.
mail is just the smtp email address
mailNickname is just the alias part of the smtp email address
proxyAddresses contains a list of addresses in the form
<protocol>:<address>. In your case <protocol> would be SMTP.
ProxyAddresses distinguishes between the primary address for a given
protocol and the secondary addresses by having the primary be upper case and
the rest being lower case.
Good luck with this. I know very little about how this stuff might work
with ADAM, so I doubt I can provide much more help.
