Hmm well what happens is when I do the restore and the
server boots up, several services are unable to start. And
windows does not recognize the NIC cards. when you run
ipcoinfig at a cmd line. it says "Error performing
operation, this operation is not supported, please contact
microsoft. Additional information: Unable to query host."
Some of the services that dont start are WINS, DNS, TCP/IP
services, IPSEC, DHCP, Kerberos, NLA, Messenger, Intersite
messaging service and TCP/IP drivers.
This was done using the windows 2000 KB article, so it was
the assumption that it was merely the wrong one due to all
these errors.
