Install the admin tools from your 2000 cd d:\i386\admin.msi
Then
Create a batch script as below and run it on your problem dc
@echo off
c:
cd \
cd "program files\support tools"
del c:\dcdiag.log
dcdiag /e /c /v /s:dcgob04 /f:c:\dcdiag.log
start c:\dcdiag.log
del c:\netdiag.log
"C:\program files\support tools\netdiag" /v > c:\netdiag.log
start c:\netdiag.log
Examine the two files that pop up in notepad for errors
