Be careful when you talk of PCs authenticating and users authenticating.
Machines have accounts (and passwords) and they log in when they boot.
That's before we even start talking about users. I'm not sure of an easy
way to find out which DC a machine authenticated with.
Be sure you configure the site-IP subnet mappings if you're in a WAN
environment.
