I'm guessing this is related to the "Can I force ADAM to listen on certain
NICs
in a multihomed server" question that the poster asked in another thread.
With
two nics in each of a pair of servers in a configuration set can I isolate
the traffic
to be between just a given pair of nics. Could you disable the intrasite
topology
generation and manually configure a link? Or maybe split one pair of NICs by
choice of subnet mask in the subnet definition for the site? Usual caveats
about not
letting the KCC do the job (or why one would want to) notwithstanding.

>From your response it seems that setting the dnsHostName on the server
object
to a NIC specific DNS name would not be enough. I guess it's time to try a
multihomed
ADAM instance and see what happens!
