I am trying to create a User Proxy Object in ADAM. The LDIF file that I created is
dn: CN=xxxx,OU=People,DC=X,DC=X,DC=X
changetype: add
objectClass: top
objectClass: person
objectClass: organizationalPerson
objectClass: inetOrgPerson
objectClass: userProxy
cn: xxxxxx
sn: xxxxxx
givenName: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
objectSID: 0x01 0x05 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x05 0x15 0x00 0x00 0x00 0xA2 0x1E 0x69 0xA1 0xD2 0xB3 0xD3 0xD4 0x4A 0xD8 0x24 0x7C 0x6B 0x04 0x00 0x00
Can the value of objectSID retrieved from Active Directory be specified in Hex? What should be the values for mandatory attributes instanceType and objectCategory?
Thanks
