Hello Keith,
remember you have to block Automatic Update _and_ Windows Update. You
can do both via Group Policy, the Link in the Internet Explorer Tools
menu will disappear, the Automatic Updates Tab in the System Properties
and if the users run Windows Update by typing
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com in the Adressbar they'll recieve a
message that the Administrator has blocked access to windows update on
the webpage.
